The Mobile Retail Summit kicks off with a presentation from Matthew Hopkinson, business development director at the Local Data Company, who will offer delegates a hard-hitting view of how things are on the High Street right now, and why they cannot afford to ignore the mobile channel.
After Matthew’s presentation, the Agenda breaks down into four sections. The first session, On Device, looks at how retailers are using mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets, to engage with customers and generate sales around the clock, wherever the customer may be.
Session two, Driving Footfall, looks at how retailers are using mobile to entice people off the streets and into their stores, using tools such as mobile advertising, location-based services, Augmented Reality and mobile couponing.
In the afternoon, the third session, In-store, looks at what retailers are doing to harness the power of mobile in store, from iPod Touch-based queue-busting solutions and iPad kiosks to in-store wi-fi, on-shelf QR codes and mobile payment offerings.
The final session, The Future, looks at where all this might lead, and how retailers can successfully embrace mobile and other digital technologies, and incorporate them within a true omni-channel offering.
Our speakers will comprise a mixture of client-side senior marketing executives, and mobile experts who are helping retailers to turn their mobile marketing ideas into reality. Confirmed speakers from the retail community include Sienne Veit, Head of Mobile at Morrisons; Shivani Tejuja, eCommerce & Multichannel Director at New Look; and Sean McKee, Head of eCommerce and Customer Services at Schuh. Mobile marketing experts who will be speaking at the event include Brainstorm, Isobar Mobile and Clash Group.
